Three friends here — one male, two female — planning a trip to Cox's Bazar with no budget constraints. We've been calling 5-star hotels one after another, and every single one is turning us away the moment we mention the group composition.

I currently live in the US and this is my first time visiting Cox's Bazar, so I genuinely don't understand what the issue is. We're all adults, we're not couples, just friends traveling together — and apparently that's a problem?

Is this a blanket policy across the board, or are there specific hotels that actually accommodate mixed-gender friend groups without interrogating your relationship status? Would love any suggestions, workarounds, or just an explanation of how this actually works on the ground.
