I support the peace process! But Israelis shouldn’t think they have a willing partner in that, unwilling partners who feel forced to accept an unwanted reality? YES, and many who are not partners at all
but so many Israelis I talk to either think that the Lebanese don’t talk to Israelis due to the law (which isn’t a factor at all) and not because They hate Israelis and are not interested in a warm relationship with them.
or they think that a significant portion of lebanese christians are Zionists, they aren’t, a small minority is
this is directed to people who want warm peace with Lebanon, you have to convince the Lebanese to want it, if you’re here under the assumption that the lebanese already want peace then you’re not getting anywhere.
instead of working with the few who do want it, you should be convincing more of them to, if not? Forget about warm peace, start thinking about cold peace that is enforced on the Lebanese who would hate it, but since I assume this place is for warm peace, I don’t know what the next step is for people here.
