i am traveling across the country in a few days and plan to collect aquatic insects and preserve them. the only everclear i can find online locally is a huge 750mL bottle (i only need 60-70 mL), so I was looking at instead buying 40% vodka and using it temporarily. would this concentration sufficiently preserve the insects for a few days, or totally destroy them?
