
I made "Fog Chess" - A psychological stealth chess game that lifts the fog for a sudden-death showdown! (Web / Mobile / Multiplayer & AI)
Hi everyone!
I’m a 15-year-old developer, and I just built a browser-based strategy game called **"Fog Chess" (暗殺霧チェス)**!
It's a multiplayer and AI-capable chess variant inspired by the tactical "Fog of War" in real military history (like Napoleon's battles).
### 👁️ How to Play & Key Features:
* **The Fog of War:** You can only see your own pieces and 1 square directly in front of them.
* **Sonar System:** If an enemy piece is within your attack range, a "⚠️" warning icon appears on that square.
* **Assassination Warning:** You get a secret "🚨 Check" alert if your King is targeted, but the enemy doesn't know your location yet!
* **Endgame Sudden Death:** When the game hits **80 turns** OR total remaining pieces drop to **10 or fewer**, **all the fog instantly disappears!** The game shifts from a dark stealth horror into an open, high-stakes tactical showdown.
* **Smart AI:** Features 3 difficulty levels. Level 3 uses Minimax with Alpha-Beta pruning to actively trap and checkmate you.
* **Ver 2.0 Update:** Just added a global language switcher (**English, Japanese, Chinese**) and customizable board themes (Dark, Light, Wood) that apply only to your screen!
It’s entirely free to play on both PC and mobile browsers. I would absolutely love to get your feedback, feature ideas, or tactical strategies (Personally, I love pushing Pawns early on to mass-produce Queens in the fog to hunt my friends!).
