Need help….

4.5 years of QA experience working at 2 different companies. First was for 18 months then laid off but found a new job in 2 months and then worked there for close to 3 years before being laid off again. It was in an English speaking country (think UK Australia etc.) but then I got laid off again in April. Now I’m making my way back to the states with a US passport tryna find another job. I’ve been doing a part time online computer science masters since my undergrad was in economics. Now I’ve passed all the classes all I have left is my thesis but it’s part time and I’ve already done a lot of it. So I’m able to work full time. I really wanna live in NYC for a year and get over there asap. Unfortunately I haven’t had much luck in the market so far but also haven’t been applying much since I was focusing on finishing off my final classes for the masters. I’ve had one interview on Tuesday but it’s been 3-4 business days and haven’t heard back and it went really well for the most part. It’s now July and I wanna get over there asap. Ik I was QA but I’ve obviously done a lot more than just test. What other adjacent paths can I take? Sales engineer solutions engineer support engineer at the junior level? I’m happy with 90-100k+ ideally 100k+ in NYC. I do have the part time masters as well so I could potentially switch into other things? I don’t finish it until next spring time but it’s part time and really
Not too much work outside of work at this stage.how would you approach this if your goal was to get over there asap for a 100k+ role?

Just to add to this..my skillset:
API testing and understanding of APIs
Debugging playwright automation tests
Can read and write code in JavaScript
SDLC
Agile/key stakeholder requirements
Testing methodologies
SQL
Understanding of software dev and frontend backend etc.

Could junior support engineer roles be a good move? I’ve had exposure chatting to clients as well. I could also apply for PM internships as I am still a student

Job market in US

How is the job market for QA’s in the USA if you have 4-5 years of experience and can do automation testing? Playwright to automate, API testing knowledge and skills etc. I’m looking for a 100k in NYC area.
