Do my frets need a luthier’s attention?
My 2008 52 reissue Telecaster has this flaking/cracking look around just about all of the frets. Seems like maybe it’s the fretboard lacquer getting old? It’s rough to the touch if u run a fingernail along it, but it is not loose or falling off.
I normally do all my own maintenance for my electrics, but should I bring this to a luthier?
