Used car Insurance name transfer
Bought a used car and took insurance in the previous owner's name for smooth RC transfer. Now insurance company is denying to transfer it to my name. When i asked them to cancel and refund, they are asking for new policy.
Is it mandatory to get new policy before cancelling old?
I am from Tamil Nadu.
