Impossible revival
I managed to kill my croton with repotting in dense soil two years ago. It was struggling for a whole year before it finally gave up. My mom cut the stem and forgot about it in the basement. This spring she took the por outside to plant something else, but it just sat there, and some wild seed took root and got big. While inspecting it to find out which plant it is, I saw the stem from the forgotten croton below the shade of the invader, sprouting 5 new shoots. After two years of silence! How is it even possible?
