Best wired AP for Double Brick home?
Hey all, looking for some advice on a friend’s home WiFi setup!
They live in a double brick house and their current WiFi in their room is terrible. We’re getting an Ethernet cable to run to the ceiling just outside their room for an AP.
They’re not very tech savvy, so I want to keep it simple. My plan is 2 UniFi APs, one outside their room and one on the opposite side of the house ( about 10m apart) both using PoE injectors connected to their existing router with WiFi disabled.
I was originally looking at the U7-LR, but I’ve seen mixed feedback. Would the U6 Pro be the better option, or is there something else you’d recommend? Budget is around USD $220 per AP, which puts both the U7-LR and U6 Pro in range here in Australia. Thanks!
