I'm studying for CSC 131, and i'm just finding myself wondering. What is the point of this class? Like cool it teaches you about design models like Waterfall and Agile, about Design Patterns, UML diagrams, and general terminology for testing products. But I feel like you could actually learn anything meaningful this class teaches you in like, 3 days
I was kind of unsure if I was going to be able to get into one of the CSC 130 classes, so I made sure to add Stat 50 into my schedule for next semester. However, now that I got into CSC 133. I don't feel like I could take CSC 133, CSC 60, Math 100, Stat 50, and PHIL 103. Is there anyway I can drop Stat 50 and replace it with a writing intensive like Educ 121? Or do I have to wait until next semester rolls around
Just a heads up for anyone who plans on living on the dorms at Riverview Hall. I'm currently living in room 4008, so if you are going to live in Riverview next semester, ask if you can get a room change if you get placed into this room (it's a single, so you'll only get it if you applied for singles). Either that, or I would recommend asking the RAs to do a work order to get someone and spray an ant remover for free (if you do this, do it as soon as you move into the room and constantly ask the front desk about it, and try and push your request forward because it takes them a WHILE to actually get to the rooms to fix it)
I'm only saying this warning because the semester ends, and I'll be out of here in a couple of days. But I don't want this to become someone else's problem
As everybody knows, CSC classes, especially any class in the 130s is especially hard for sophmores to get into, I'm currently waitlisted in CSC 134 for position 17 and emailing Jouyang, the Department Chair on getting me enrolled into the class. But they recently added a new CSC 133 class that I can enroll into. However, due to the time window for both these sections. I have to give one up. Should I stick with trying to get into CSC 134 the class that is the most common prereq among other future classes, or should I just say screw it, and enroll into the CSC 133 class (the class is with Shankar Swamy for 133, I heard hes also not the best)
Hello, I'm currently building a website for a client that requires using images for profile pictures and stuff like that, and I saw that Supabase's storage allows you to upload images and then you can create a url path to the image and store it on a table column on table editor. But I saw that this url path is temporary and at best only lasts a few years? Is there any way to make the pathing permenant?
