Hello fellow colonizers.
I'm struggling with figuring out automation and how to put my thoughts on how I'd like things to operate into practice. I'm having trouble understanding the guide's wording and figured I'd ask this subreddit for help.
My idea is that Chamber 1 will fill to a certain threshold before Chamber 2's pumps will activate, moving the water from C1 to C2. Once Chamber 2 has reached a certain threshold, the pumps leading to the Main Reservoir Chamber will activate, and only fill until a threshold in the MRC has been met. Anything over in any chamber, and the water risks spilling out and flooding the area.
The threshold for the MRC has not been met yet as it is a giant pit and is slowly being filled with water. I'm worried that once the threshold for the MRC has been met, that the other chamber's pumps will continue to operate, and spill over the top of the reservoir.
I'm wondering if I did too much with the 4 different depth sensors and 3 different relays. There has been no spill over yet but, as I said, my main concern is what will happen once the MRC has been filled to what I want the maximum to be.
