Dr. Montgomery and Natural recovery Shakes

Hi All,

I stumbled upon a video the other day in my quest to better understand how to beat back this disease. It came up pretty quick on Youtube so I don't doubt many of you have seen it before , it might have even been discussed on here - I am new.

I have no doubt the doctor is sincere and knowledgeable. Also, there is a lot to be said between the correlation between diet and health especially in our circumstances. BUT, nothing but blue algae shakes seems...excessive.

I'm all for alternative forms of medicine in addition to conventional forms. However, something about "drink this shake and nothing but this for 30 days" doesn't sit right with me.

Let me know your thoughts or if you have experience with this.

4 Pillars + ADHD Meds?

Hi All,

New here. I'm very grateful this place exists, and thank you for any contributions you make. I was diagnosed with Heart Failure just about one month ago. 40 yr old Male, fit but not athletic. Non smoker, ate conservatively with a an occasional cheat day. Social drinker on weekends. etc. The doctors treating me as well as my primary and the one at the hospital think my Heart Failure is from repeated viral infections spreading from lungs and surrounding environs to heart. That or sarcoidosis which was latent for a long time. But I digress.

Before this morass, I was prescribed (and happily taking) 20ml Adderall XR daily for my ADHD. It was the only medication I was taking and it dramatically effects the quality of my life. It helped me sit patiently, be a better listener, enjoy small moments in life, sleep better, excel at work, and a myriad of other things. It allowed me to the very best, truest, version of myself. In short, it was a very important medication to me.

My question is if anyone here has been put on the 4 pillars of HF, and was able to resume adderall. Both of my Cardiologists are of the opinion that I probably can resume taking it 'one day' and my primary says "talk to your Cardiologists about this." All the answers are a little vague.

It also occurs to me there are other non-stimulant ADHD meds out there, but I have no experience with them. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Capsized Cafe, Spring Lake Heights.

With everyone coming down to Monmouth/Ocean now, I wanted to give a shout to one of my my favorite little greasy spoons in the area - Capsized Cafe. I went on a bike ride adventure with my bud this weekend and I was glad to introduce him to this place; it's right on rt.71

Everything is cooked to order, and it doesn't pretend to be something it's not. The owner is a super friendly dude who is hands on and it's just an all around worthy visit. There are a dozen great breakfast places around me, but this one stands out. Prices we're very fair too which is refreshing.

Also fun new menu items every week so it doesn't get stale.
