North or East?
Salve! My partner and I are visiting Rome this July for a wedding, so we're jumping on the opportunity to finally visit Sardinia as well. We're flying into Olbia, renting a car, and staying for 5 days.
I'm aware we're visiting during the busiest time ever, but with that being said, I'm looking for advice on what region, in your opinion, that we should prioritize as first time visitors. Our original plan was to stay in the North for a couple of days, and make our way down to the East and explore Orosei area. But now, we've decided to stay in one region to really soak it up and fully appreciate the area.
Our priority is to explore beautiful beaches, potentially rent a dinghy if the coast isn't too tough to navigate, and stay at an agriturismo for some amazing food. We're not too big into hiking in the heat, but we don't mind a long, winding walk to a fantastic beach.
