Sprite Mastery Advice

For anyone having trouble mastering, just wanted to give my personal advice for going about it.

Firstly Mondays are obviously the best days to do this, with the double leveling boost to sprites. But it can be done anytime in the week really.

Campfires give double leveling EXP for your sprite for that match.

Don't worry about being followed from the bus lobby, just focus on aiming for 3-4 matches to level a specific sprite. A fresh sprite will get to level 3 the first run. Level 4 the second. And finish off the level 5. You might have to extract early at any point if you end up in a box desert or come across too many decent players in a match.

Here's what I do. I build a pattern of jumping immediately off the bus and diving straight down, then free fall down before landing with the glider last second.

Doesn't matter where the bus is spawning you, just jump and find a spot likely to have a box without moving away too much.

A majority of players don't jump immediately and getting a gun, any gun, right away by jumping so fast gives you the upper hand for the first 2 minutes of landing.

Focus on opening as many boxes as possible on landing and don't waste time getting to the next area with more boxes. If you get a key/card, go for it. And it's basically a box frenzy with some defensive kills layered in until you get the sprite to either level 3 or the player count gets down to 30. Repeat at elvel 4 and 5.

You need to be extracting by player count 30 or it's too likely you'll be dying to someone playing to win, instead of playing to master sprites. This is the most important part.

Don't be afraid to run away from someone across the entire map.

Don't use personal extraction pods for leveling. Save for new sprites.

Just found out about teaming kicks

I found an extra gummy striker and threw it at a random player in one of the safety extraction zones. They were super happy about it and started following me around. So we teamed up and I didn't realize the game doesn't allow that?

Didn't this game start at the height of Hunger Games hype? That's like a key role in the story there. Seems like forming alliances on the fly would be a cool mechanic in a battle royale and I just assumed it was part of the game because that just makes sense.

I see lots of people support the no teaming rule, and I get why people would be annoyed by teaming, but it just seems silly to not encourage player engagement. The team still has to turn on each other at some point anyway.

And yes I know about duos and all that, but those are lame as a solo player since you don't know what you're getting as a team mate.

Anyway, just ranting. It's not like I ever teamed before, just surprised it is specifically a rule.
