I got in a league with only 8 participants this week, and initially I thought people were still gathering, but on Wednesday evening I got that there will be no more people in the league. That made me, and other participants in this league grind much more than before. I don’t know was this another a/b test, or they decided to shrink leagues just to make users spend more time on app and grind harder. The only positive thing however, is that it made my learning of German faster :)
But still, I wish I had not spent that much time on Duolingo like this week, so I will probably take a break after this, or start on desktop where leagues are more chill, and as far as I know, have 20+ participants.
