I have around $75k VTSAX vanguard mutual fund that I transferred into Fidelity from Vanguard around 3 years ago in a taxable brokerage. This is my only MF. Everything else I own in my portfolio is an ETF and it really bugs me especially since I don’t plan on selling it. In order to convert to ETF without selling, I’d have to open a Vanguard account, transfer it back in-kind, get Vanguard to convert it into the equivalent ETFs, and then transfer back in-kind, and then ask Fidelity to cover the $100 Vanguard account closing fee. Would you do it? Or just leave it be?
