Absolute nightmare at Sepang tonight
As everyone is already very well aware the co-ordination of the exit from the circuit was dreadful - we left the track around lap 40 from the main grand stand and got to the bus area quite quickly and boarded the bus in somewhat decent time, but then we sat on the bus for 2.5 hours to get to long term car park - as the bus was forced to turn left exiting the circuit rather than be guided by staff to allow it to turn right. That manouver alone took us over 90 mins to go down to the roundabout only to do a u-turn and come back past the circuit where we drove out.
Once at the long term car park they have this grab collection area that is utterly useless and they have people queuing for a grab with almost no cars coming at all. Grab staff ask you to use a pin code on the grab app and join the queue, but then the staff suggest to people to cancel it and try to book a separate ride and the just leave the queue (thus defeating the whole point of the queue)
I was very lucky to get a grab and am going to arrive at my hotel approx 11:30pm, after leaving the circuit before the race was complete at about 5:45pm.
Having experienced quite a few Grand Prix this is by far the worse planning and execution I have ever seen, and I feel so terrible for the thousands of people still stuck at the circuit, especially those with children or who are elderly.
