So I recently just got diagnosed with focal seizures after a sleep deprived EEG last week. I created a new claim on top of my current one. But the question is should I have filled out a form or called the VA to include the new foundings so I wouldn't have to worry about it being defferred and taken care of after discharge?

This is a first for me. Did the new claim yesterday and I know I should have just waited till after the Holiday to call the VA or my VSO to ask if I did it the right way.
