Any Recommendations or Anyone Experienced in Sewing Fencing Hoods?

Excuse the poorly drawn examples. I recently had a linen tabard made from someone that was half royal blue/half black and am now looking to get a fencing hood made in a similar pattern/color scheme (I can settle with half completely blue on one side and black on the other if it’s too complicated).

Saw this dagger at my SCA practice last week, got an idea for longsword customization

The symbol is for (I think) a household (basically a clan) that the dagger owner belongs in, which I thought was an awesome way to add personalization, color, and easy recognition to a weapon (all of which I’m all about with what I wear and fight at events). While I’m not a part of any households, every SCA member has the ability to create their own heraldry for their own use with the help of heralds within their region. After seeing the dagger, it got me thinking of how I’ve looked at different ring options for longswords before that covered the hands more, which led me to the example on the 2nd pic (my heraldry isn’t approved yet, so I just used the household symbol as an example within my drawing)

Unless I’m missing something, I’d see this as a win in every way. Easy to tell that it’s mine if laid out on a table of other longswords, adds to my colors (if my intended heraldry is used, which consists of blue to match the majority of my garb), and less prone to falling victim to hand pokes. I could see added weight being a potentially negative factor, but my longsword is much lighter ( at 2.25 lbs I think) than most other fencing longswords I’ve seen/used

Rough connection at room 50 meters from router

My room is in a small building 50 meters away from the router in my parents’ house (I moved down there after we took in an elderly relative that needed my previous room). I imagine that the best answer involves running an Ethernet cable to the building, but we don’t have the time or resources to put one in at this time, so I’ll be looking at whatever else can at least help my situation better than what it was before even if it’s slight.

To give a little better idea, we had a netgear Blackhawk X6 R8000 router at the house (now recently replaced with a Blackhawk X7 BE9300) and a linksys re6400 booster at the building for at least 8 years. I have a gaming PC, a TV that uses Roku, a few gaming systems, and a 3D printer with certain wireless capabilities. Any game/software updates had to be done at night or else it just would hardly download. Online gaming was ok in the evenings, but worse whenever I join a discord call with one of my friend groups (I eventually stopped joining them after getting dropped from the call multiple times a night and their voices breaking up on my end all while the games we try playing together would lag on my end). Roku would buffer some, but I never payed attention to how often it occurred since it mostly just for background noise.

Again, I get that my options could be very limited and inefficient given the distance and no Ethernet cable option, but anything at least possibly slightly better is a win. I also didn’t want to start to throw too much money at the problem until I got more educated opinions on it

Some general poses have multiple pics to compensate for possibly awkward arm positioning. I’d also suit up in my fencing gear if I didn’t have new garb currently being made
