Start Study Button Reloads Same Page Instead of Opening Study

Is anyone else facing this issue on Prolific?

I accepted a study, but when I click “Start Study,” it just opens the same page again in a new tab while the timer keeps running. The actual study never loads.

I contacted Prolific support, but they said it may take up to 5 days to respond. This has happened to me before as well.

Does anyone know a fix or workaround? Thanks.

Hello mods/devs,

I am creating a mod tool for Devvit called Devudu, which is meant to solve one of the most critical upcoming issues with moderation: cross-subreddit spam and abuse.

Moderators face challenges such as:

spam accounts posting within several subs as a cluster

the inability to report clusters/bulk

AI/bot-generated content that works around subreddit-specific filters

growing workload without any community intelligence sharing

harassment and retaliation risks when enforcing consequences

The goal of Devudu is to identify repeat offenses across several subs with the use of this tool and send moderation indicators along with cluster/cooldown-like restrictions to participating communities, rather than forcing moderators to do this themselves.

Currently, I am in the design/testing phase and would highly appreciate some feedback from active moderators.

What are the most difficult patterns of spam/abuse you have to fight against now?

Will the ability to detect cross-community activity actually improve your workflow?

What would need to be done to make it possible to utilize this tool in the mod environment?

Soon I will open an early beta and hope to get some participation from moderator teams.
