Post op swelling or no? ☹️
Hey, maybe some of you saw my post here before… I posted right after surgery. I was super stressed because I had to get a revision done. It was because of a pretty big hematoma (around 150ml). After that, the soft (like soft to touch) swelling kept coming back even though I was wearing my post-op compression vest. I got it drained twice. Then my surgeon eventually told me I didn’t have to wear it anymore (around 2 weeks post-op). That suprised me but I did my research after and found out some people dont wear the vest like at all..
I feel like the swelling is still there, especially on the side where I had the revision, but I maybe see it on the other side too. I marked it on the pics. Do you guys think it’s still just swelling, or is this probably how it’s gonna stay?
I see my mom like once every 3 weeks or so and she says she can definitely see progress and that it’s going down, but honestly I genuinely don’t know what to think anymore. I don’t wanna sound ungrateful or anything.. I’m insanely grateful I was even able to get this surgery but I still have a lot of questions and anxiety around it. What do you guys think?
I’ll probably delete this post in a few days/weeks so it’s not here forever lol, but please let me know what you think, I really need opinions from unbiased dudes :)
