Unpaid days
Started Costco as a second job doing night merch. Really have a busy schedule between family and my primary job.
Lots of discussion around taking “PTO” and vacations aren’t allowed within first year, etc. I guess my general question is, if I don’t care for PTO, and I’m not pulling benefits, can I ask for a block of days (4-5 in a row) unpaid if I have to? I know it goes kind of case by case and depends on the manager(s), but I just wanna know how best to approach the situation.
To note - I have 0 tardies and 0 absences thus far. Got a great 30 day review recently and still in probation.
