Hello, everyone! Welcome to Weekly Discussion #15 and this week we're delving into a rumor about Riot Music bringing back True Damage soon.

It's been quite a few years since Riot introduced us to True Damage and I'm sure that many fans thought at that time we would get more than one song. However, that hasn't been the case and we have to wonder why that is. It's easy to see why they've kept going with K/DA but True Damage didn't seem like it was a flop. Hell, they've even given True Damage Ekko an expensive as hell paid skin. So there must have been some money in it for them. For some reason, they just never seemed to give them more love.

So here we are in 2026 and a rumor has sprouted implying that True Damage will be returning with at least new skins. I hope Riot gives them the whole treatment, though. Skins, music video, and a new song. I know it's being a little greedy to ask for Jinx to show up somewhere in there with Ekko, but even if she doesn't, I guess it'll be nice to see True Damage return.

So that leads to our question of the week: "How do you feel about this?"

For me, I'm a little cautious, because game rumors are just that a lot of times in the game industry. That said, I do think that it is about time for Riot to do SOMETHING with them. Last year (was it last year?) they got a little animated spot in TFT's music festival. Wasn't much, but at least it was something. I think all of us fans are hoping for this rumor to be true.

The fear is that we don't know what this entails and is quite possibly amount to nothing at all.

Part of me wants to be optimistic about it. Riot Music themselves always have given the impression that they care and I'd like to think they'd do True Damage justice. If all we got was a few new skins with nothing else, I'll admit I'll be disappointed. What WOULD make me satisfied? That's a good question. I don't know, really. Depends on what they did and whether or not I felt like they gave a crap. Though, if Fortiche made a video for them...damn, that would be awesome. Heh, better not get my hopes up.
