Hello again, everyone. I apologize for skipping last week, but I ended up getting busy and couldn't come up with an interesting discussion topic.

This week, I think I have it covered. I've seen a few discussions about Ekko leaving Piltover/Zaun to go find Jinx and I thought this would be a nice topic for discussion. There are some fans who believe that Ekko should stay in Zaun and help with liberation and rebuilding with his relationship with Jinx taking a backseat. I can understand that line of thinking.

Ekko All Alone

At the end of Arcane Season 2, it appears that Sevika takes over as the Zaun council member and Ekko is left to do whatever it is he's doing. So say he's doing more behind the scenes work, but I personally think that's kind of in contrast to what we see him doing in Season 1 where he takes the responsibility to represent Zaun in front of the Council. I guess there's room for interpretation there.

So that brings up the question of Ekko making himself free to travel if he wishes to, since he would not be required to attend council meetings or the like. Seems like Scar and the gang were able to keep the Firelights running in his absence and perhaps Ekko did not feel required to be there for the day to day like he had been.

That leaves us with the thought that Ekko then takes up the task to chase after the love of his life...Jinx. How do you feel about him leaving to find her and either bring her back or travel with her until she's ready to return to Zaun? There are probably a lot of different opinions on this and I'm interested to see where a lot of fans fall.

In my opinion, I think it's romantic to think that he'd trust his friends to do the job in Zaun while he finally goes after something he's probably wanted for a long, long time. Finally putting his own wants and needs first (probably at the encouragement of Scar and other Firelights). His journey to find her and the inevitable reunion would be pretty epic, I think.
