I’m almost done year 1 of a 2 year fellowship. Schedule has finally eased up (it was the worst paced schedule I’ve had in all my 5 years of training) and now the job seems easier. Only get frustrated/annoyed with the work depending on which attending I’m working with.
I’m still so burned out. I thought now that I can see the sun, I will feel better but I’m just so meh about everything.
Even job prospects don’t excite me.
Low key want a year off from everything clinical but unfortunately not in the books for me due to personal reasons.
This is a vent post. But if anyone has fixed their burn out, I’m open to advice.
