When someone gets rid of the illusion of "self", does the person lose only the illusion of the self or also that there are other selves?

My solution: in order to distinguish between "other" selves and "my"self, one needs to be already suffering from the illusion of the self. Therefore, the question loses its sense and, therefore, has no answer since it's not even a question in the first place.
