This was a bear to decant and rinse!
Cementing out about 500g while melting down another 650g.
It took literally over 1 gallon of hot distilled water to wash this silver. Good Lord. Took about 1.5 hours to rinse....decant.....repeat before the water ran clear enough to wash with HCL.
Next batch is pretty dirty so we finished up the melt and filtered but letting it settle for 24-48 hours before we filter it again. We don't want all that gunk mixing with the cement.
Still working on drying out the cemented powder from the 500g batch. Will update when done! Mmmmmm we love us some moon powder!
