Big 4 Consulting - internal workforce management grad v HR roles

Hi all,

I’ve recently been offered a graduate role at pwc for a internal workforce management role. Up until this point I’ve worked at a private medium sized company within there hr department (entry level coordinator level).

I have really enjoyed working in hr and saw it as a career I was looking to persue. I initially applied for a hr based grad role and was progressed for the workforce management role instead. The grad offer is 10k less than what I’m currently earning.

My question is whether it is a smart career move to continue in the hr space aiming to progress to advisor & bp etc or go to pwc as a grad work my way up instead with the view to pivot later in my career depending on my experience.

Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
