Joining the reserves later in life
Recently turned 39(F) and I am thinking about joining the Army Reserves. I would really appreciate some insight on joining at a much older age. I knew I wanted to serve at the age of 18 but family was completely against me joining and "fighting other people's wars" so, I just respected it. I have always regretted that decision. I am currently employed and I love my job but I still want to serve my country in some capacity and I think Reserves will be a good fit?
Previous to my current job, I did contacting and was deployed overseas with the military.
Again, any insight from anyone that joined Reserves later in life would be greatly appreciated.
