Don’t get me wrong, the outfit and awakened Soul Jam are great, but it’s interesting that only Hollyberry’s changes
I’m no expert when it comes to finding objective problems in gameplay and storytelling(which sparked the hate for the bad Little Nightmares 3 game), but my problem is that it’s too buggy. I’m not going to spoil anything, but certain animations like elevators opening/closing are delayed and choppy. The other major bug I noticed is that it takes the non-player main character a long-ish time to follow you, especially during moments where it’s crucial to move quickly like chase scenes. Currently stuck on a chase because it takes the other character so long to follow me into the elevator and help me reach the lever. I want to like this dlc, and Little Nightmares is a franchise that’s near and dear to me, but a game being super buggy to the point of being near unplayable upon launch because the devs rushed is the opposite of what a company like Bandai Namco should want for it. It’s got me thinking that maybe Tarsier Studios should have worked on LN3 and its dlcs. The Secrets Of The Spiral and its base game are fun in my personal opinion, but I’m worried that Little Nightmares will suffer the same fate as franchises like Poppy Playtime where in the beginning they were phenomenal, but turned into lower quality cash grabs; and that’s not what I want to happen to arguably one of my favorite game series. Anyway, sorry for the long rant, but I hope this sheds light on my perspective. Hope they release patch updates for the game soon.
I created them as accurate as my lack of art talent would let me, but I think I got it pretty good. I set their dating preferences to none and made them nonbinary with she/her pronouns as well, because Timekeeper is She/They and their OvenBreak valentines day costume seems to imply they’re AroAce. I added a strap to the hat goggles as will as a clock on the top of their hat just for fun.
