What actually helped me lower my glucose after diagnosis

When I was diagnosed, I was overwhelmed and terrified.

I kept reading extreme advice online and honestly it made everything worse mentally.

What actually helped me most was keeping things simple:

- walking after meals
- reducing processed carbs slowly
- monitoring my glucose instead of guessing
- improving sleep
- eating more real foods
- reducing stress

I also realized perfection is impossible. Consistency matters more.

I went from feeling exhausted constantly to finally understanding how my body reacts to food.

Curious what helped other people the most.
