Hey there, I recently found a old renovation permit from the previous owner mentioning that he would insulate the crawling space walls with "Asbestos Spray Foam". Mind the permit was delievered in 1995 and asbestos was banned here in Canada around the 1980s.

Is it possible that the owner wrongly used the material he was referring to ? (he was previously a general contractor)

Here the picture of the insulation used for the walls of the crawling space. Mix of foam, grey and brown fibers. Anyone seen that before ?

Context: House was built in 1940s and then modified multiple times. We are currently doing renovations upstairs and found a cement wall containing <1% chrysolite (No biggie but we are being extra careful)

I was just wondering if theses look like it should be tested ?
