Where is my street shutoff valve?

Hello,

I live in a 1950s house in Northern Virginia. We are replacing the old main valve inside my house and need to turn off the water at the street. Does anyone know where it is in these photos or is it highly recommended to pay my water company $60 to turn it off and another $60 to turn it on?
