Useful skills to learn in school

Hi,

I am a 3rd year mechanical engineering student in Montreal, Quebec. I was wondering what skills are the most useful(employable) for someone starting out in the industry? I want to make sure I give myself enough time to learn everything I can. My main interest right now is in design engineering.

For context I am a TA in our schools machine shop for 1 year already and I plan to continue that to graduation. I have also participated in our schools robo wars (sumobot) competition last year. I have also done an research internship in the fluid dynamics lab at school one summer.

Being a student at my school gives free access to all courses on Udemy. So I'm looking to use that to expand on my CAD experience.

I have mostly used SolidWorks. What other software should I become familiar with?

Thanks everyone in advance :)
