We have received everything to the right address until the USCIS sent the green card. I checked my Informed Delivery daily as well and it wasn’t there. So what I did was paid the immigrant fee to get her green card processed on January 26 (her interview ended January 14th and told her she can pay the immigrant fee so it’s ready when she arrives) and then she arrived March 9 in the USA. The green card status got update April 14th which is this status:

On April 14, 2026, we mailed your new card for your Form OS155A, Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, Receipt Number IOE00—-, to the address you gave us. The tracking number assigned is UNAVAILABLE. You can use your tracking number at www.USPS.com in the Quick Tools Tracking section. If you do not receive your card by April 29, 2026, please go to

www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I tried the e-request after April 29th but it shows this when I input the receipt number:

The form submitted for this case is not available for this tool. For more information, call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 or 1-800-767-1833 (TDD for the hearing impaired).

So I called and tells me it got delivered on April 18th but on a different state which is in Seattle. I never lived in Seattle and never input any Seattle address… so they blame me for it. Now they suggest to get a replacement card and pay $465 and wait up to 6 months or call NVC if they put the wrong address.

TDLR;

Wife’s green card was sent to different state, e-request doesn’t work and shows need to call USCIS Contact Center but USCIS blames us we put the wrong address or NVC’s fault.

Anyone had similar issue before??
