In praise of The Cabinet

My wife and I are currently in NYC celebrating our anniversary. Being a kindred agave nerd, she was searching for good mezcal establishments near where we’re staying (lower east side) and she discovered an absolute gem.

The search ultimately took us to The Cabinet. All I can say is WOW! We spent several hours there looking at their spirit list and trying some absolutely amazing stuff. The people working there are passionate about all things agave and were the source of hours of great conversation.

They claim to have 900 agave spirits but in my estimation, they likely have considerably more.

TL;DR, if you find yourself in NYC or need a reason to make the trek there, The Cabinet is truly excellent.
