Today was my second day going to the gym. I’m going with some family. Their schedule is to wake up at 4:30 AM Tuesday-Friday and 5:55 AM on Saturday. Sunday and Monday rest days. I’ve felt okay. My legs are sore but it isn’t unbearable. Mostly the bottom of my feet. I think it’s my shoes. I don’t know anything about fitness or working out but I’ve been going 3.0 on the treadmill for thirty minutes. I read somewhere that active stretches are better before cardio while static stretches are better for after? I don’t know what I’m doing and I don’t really have anyone I can look to for advice. My main goal is just to feel healthy. I want to be able to go up a flight of stairs without feeling winded, ya know? Advice on a good severely out of shape beginner workout routine/exercises would be much appreciated! Dietary advice is welcome too.. but I’m pretty broke so my options are limited.
