Kiki's Delivery Service original version
Someone recently posted a picture of Kiki's Delivery Service original magazine version. It made me curious of their differences, so I roughly checked them. Here are some examples of the differences:
* It doesen't have the introduction chapter. The story starts with Kiki's arrival at Koriko.
* Kiki is a 301 years old girl.
* Kiki has very witch-y appearace: a pointy nose, sharp nails, and a pointy hat.
* Kiki's father is an almighty wizard, not a folklorist.
* The explanation of the "witch blood" doesn't appear in the first conversation with Osono. It is explained in the beach episode.
* The Aviation Club boy and the Artist appear only once. They don't appear after that. The Aviation Club boy is not named Tombo.
* After the Avitation Club boy breaks Kiki's broom, she doesn't make a new one. She uses the boy's broom.
* It has chapters of professors' discussions, duplication magic, and a gentleman thief.
* It doesn't have the chapters of laundry and the romantic poem letter.
* It has the puppeteers chapter, which was later included in the book 3.
* In the final chpater, Kiki helps a sick boy before returning to her hometown. The story ends with Kiki's departure. Her arrival and her family are not depicted.
