Artemis vs Moonlight V+

I use Vibepollo+Moonlight V+ (S24 Ultra client)

Host PC:

-Ryzen 5 7600X

-RX6700 XT

-32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 16x2 RAM

It's in a different room than my router, over wifi (gets 300-600mbps upload and download, I'll soon switch to ethernet)

I know that Vibepollo is usually paired with Artemis and Moonlight V+ is paired with Foundation Sunshine but when I tried to use it once before it kept crashing with Vibepollo even after I reinstalled the app. So I just stayed with Moonlight V+, I get good latency:

-Decoder Time (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3): 2-3 ms HEVC

-Network Latency LAN: 1.0 – 2.5 ms (with zero packet jitter)

-Total Host Processing Latency: < 4 ms

-Frame Drops: 0.0% across sessions

-Total Input-to-Display Lag: 12 – 18 ms

Tomorrow when I'm free I'll try to see if Artemis works or no.

I was wondering about your experiences with them. If you've used both, which one did you like the most? I use ABR mode, it fixed a lot of my issues with latency and lag when streaming over Tailscale (5G). I'm not sure if Artemis has that.

I'm planning to get an AP (TP-Link Archer AX72 Pro) and put it in my room (connected via ethernet from my main router) so I can stream to my room because I don't really get Wi-Fi signals here lol

My Wi-Fi can do 10GBPS/10GBPS, so in a few months I'll run ethernet on host with an adapter so it can actually run around that speed, which will be great. I don't think it'll improve the experience much other than it being via ethernet but still nice.

I also stream on my Surface Pro 11 with Moonlight QT, which also decreases decoding time and latency by a lot. Gets a lot better decoding time than the S24U (0.50ms decode aprox with total input lag being between 8 and 14ms). I don't think there's a better Moonlight fork on PC than this? Especially for ARM devices.

Well, this post was just me asking some questions and my overall setup, since I see people usually ask these types of questions in comments anyways. Thanks!

Vibepollo vs Foundation Sunshine

I recently made this post asking for help picking between Apollo and Sunshine.

People recommended Vibepollo and Foundation Sunshine.

I'm leaning towards Foundation Sunshine because of performance and since I have an AMD GPU, with Artemis on Android and my custom resolution and frame rate resolution already configured in the original Sunshine, I don't think I need the built in feature of Vibepollo for this.

There's also LSFG and some other things such as Clipboard sync on Artemis and WebRTC features and playnite sync but I probably don't need that either.

I was wondering about people's real experience using these forks, would be a great help, thanks.

Sunshine or Apollo

I recently discovered Sunshine and Moonlight and tried it.

It works great, my host PC has a R5 7600x with a 6700 XT and 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 RAM.

I spent a few days configuring Sunshine to have different apps (Steam Big Picture Mode and other launchers with specific resolutions and refresh rates and also the ability to match my client device's refresh rates and resolution with VDD and MultiMonitorTool).

After all of that, I found out about Apollo. I checked GitHub and it hasn't been updated since July-August of 2025 while Sunshine was updated in May and has released more pre-release updates last week.

I was wondering if I should try to switch?

My host devices are the S24 Ultra and the Surface Pro 11.

I wasn't going to at first because something might break or maybe it has vulnerabilities because it hasn't been updated in a year.

Just now I found out about Artemis and it has some features that only work with Apollo such as the Smart Clipboard Sync. And of course, Apollo also has more built in features that may help me save time from configuring it manually in Sunshine.

Of course performance matters too. If for some reason, Sunshine performs better than Apollo in terms of latency and quality, I'll stick to it.

Edit: I see people talking about Foundation Sunshine and Vibepollo, I checked and Foundation Sunshine is a performance based fork and Vibepollo is a modern Apollo fork, now I can't decide between them :p

Please fix home catalog order problem

Hi, I'm relatively new to Nuvio and I use a lot of addons and have a lot of catalogs because of collections and other tracking lists.

I'm using the latest version released on all devices.

TorBox as the debrid service.

AIOStreams, Watchly, AIOMetadata, etc.

I use Nuvio on my Android, PC and AndroidTV, every time I add a new catalog, reorder it on my phone for example, it works fine.

But when I launch my account on my TV or desktop, it messes up the order on the TV witbout me even touching anything yet and because of that I think it syncs with my phone for some reason and messes up the entire order.

At first I thought it was just me doing something wrong but it has happened so many times at this point that now I'm sure it's not me messing something up.

it takes forever to fix it and reorder everything on each device, especially because I have many catalogs and the reordering process is slow.

I was wondering if the developers could somehow fix this or add a feature like copy Home catalog order to other device (PC, TV, Android, etc) so it doesn't mess it up and sync wrongly later.

Edit: I asked a dev, he said he didn't know how the backend worked but the servers will be updated soon so it may be more stable.

Mobile and TV Features Difference

Yesterday I made a post about NuvioTV and the mobile version (Android Github) differences. I thought the TV version was ahead but someone pointed out that the mobile version was actually ahead of the TV version.

I was having some trouble with the details page because Trakt kept logging out and I had to change some addon settings. I fixed it.

1 - Almost everything is identical to the TV version now but the per episode comments and ratings is missing from the phone version. Is this just a missing feature on phone or is it something wrong on my end?

2 - Some catalogs like MAL on AIOMetadata don't show all the catalogs on the home screen specifically on my phone (MAL Top Series - Anime and MAL Airing Now - Anime) are missing.

3 - I connected my account to TorBox, in Library -> Cloud, it says "Nothing is here yet", yet on my TV version it does show up things.

I downloaded the latest versions for both from Github.

Mobile App Porting

I only recently discovered Nuvio, this is the best app I've ever used ngl.

I heard it had an older version, which got abandoned and now the devs are remaking it from scratch on phone and other platforms so its still lacking some features it used to have.

I also installed it on my TV along with my phone and PC.

I noticed that the TV version has a lot more features like "More like this'", trailers, and overall more info in the detail panel (it probably depends from addon to addon, but in this case they are the same).

The PC version is still behind (unofficial).

I was wondering how long it'd take the (amazing) devs to realistically port all the features over to the phone and other platforms.
