Hi everyone,

I’m a dental hygienist in the GTA and I’m really interested in transitioning into public health hygiene or school-based dental screening. I was wondering if anyone here has experience working in public health or with regional programs (Halton, Peel, Toronto, etc.).

How did you get your foot in the door?

Are most roles casual/contract at first?

Any tips on where to look or what qualifications help?
