I genuinely don't understand people in group projects that just expect the assignment to be finished when they don't contribute their parts??? Sure, we did meeting, we did discussion, we did research but no one cares at the end about the assignment. Funny thing is, everyone was allocated their parts to be completed before the deadline and somehow someone's part was done by someone else days before the submission when they literally wrote out theirs weeks before that-
I also don't understand people that don't let you know if they are busy or genuinely don't communicate AT ALL in the gc and suddenly is active again when the whole assignment is due 4 hours prior it when the assignment is supposed to be worked on within a 2 weeks range so naturally you expect the assignment to require more effort than just those 4 hours time cramming. Is it that hard to text or even reacts with emoji saying you can't or you don't have the time to do this part and need someone else's help? Only the excuses on the day of submission.
On top of it all, 4 days before the submission date, I explicitly asked if everyone in my group can just do some research at least 2 days before the submission date(only probs takes 1 hour or less since you just need to find some data), hell they don't even need to make sure the document is assembled or ready to submit kind of format and writing of the findings of research because I was sure these tasks will not be ready on the day. And they didn't so I was left with all these tasks by myself and managed to finish everything at the cost of sacrificing my sleep schedule (4am). Now they all popped up hours before the submission and ask if they still need to do their part and I was like seriously...I can't magically reassemble all the writing of the research (since all the writing of the findings were my findings) . Asked them if they wanna change the format of the assignment but said 'no' because apparently they feel guilty changing my written work (woah it's almost like this isn't a group contribution task whatsoever). One of them even gave an attitude similar to like 'what if your work isn't good enough' uh huh we should all not do anything and wait to get an unsatisfactory grade. Istg if anything group project will be the death of me.
