hello all.
i live on the bottom floor and my neighbors are above. long story short, they are always taking their large dogs out to the bathroom and take a path so close to my back porch that they are basically touching it. Even worse, they walk with the dog being closest to the porch rather than on the other side of their body. idk how to word that better i’m sorry.
i was sitting out on my porch a few months ago and they walked past with one of their dogs extremely close to me, the dog flipped out, started barking and lunged at me. the neighbor had to yank it back, apologized and started laughing. I asked him not to walk his dog so close to my porch anymore and he just walked away without saying anything. My apt manager says we should resolve these issues ourselves, but the neighbor won’t listen and i haven’t been able to use my back porch since then. I don’t know what to do here? should i just push the manager about it? any advice would be helpful.
