Bought this as an unidentified rough sawn board for $2. it was stacked next to some conifer, but this one was much heavier/denser, and when I planed it down a bit it has a much different grain pattern than any conifer I’ve ever seen. Wood shaves relatively easy and is a bit splintery. Just not sure what it is, wood ID is a skill I haven’t fully developed yet.
