I believe a stray we feed has a fever. How can I help?

Like the title says, a sweet girl we feed is showing signs of fever. Her ears are warm as well as her paws, and while she shows interest in drinking the water that I mix in her wet food can, her appetite has decreased significantly. The soonest we could get her in to see a vet would be Monday. Can anyone give some advice on how I can help her until then?

A SNAP test isn't included in the TNR package of the clinic we use. I've read that some shelters won't test their cats unless symptoms are present. Is it something that we should still do? The last TNR we were able to find a home for we had tested because of potential adopters having another cat at home. But I am wondering if the same has to be done if this kitty would go to a home where they are the only cat, provided I let them know that it is their responsibility to have the cat tested for FIV/FeLV should they want another. Just wanting insight from anyone who has found themselves in a similar situation and will ultimately do anything to ensure a happy and healthy kitty! Thanks
