Has anyone had any experience inserting the viatica probiotics while being on a weekly fluconazole?
l've been on a weekly fluconazole for the last 10 weeks as an extender from previous being on it 6 months but thrush came back so they said do another 10 weeks and I finally started the probiotics. I've inserted 22 of them so far over that period. My 10 weeks ended and it's come back within 14 days of being off them but this time as galbrata so the UK GP has given me 14 nights of Nyastatin? It's special order so I have to wait for the pharmacy.
Told me not to order the boric Acid off of herb as it's not licensed and could be fake.
(We're not readily available to have boric acid in the UK)
But he's also given me another 10 weeks of weekly fluconazole and that's the only thing that stops thrush from coming back. I asked for a referral to gyno or infectious disease doctor but said the sexual health clinic is where the specialists are for this type of thing and told me to go there instead?
I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of the probiotics taking well while being on fluconazole?
As I haven't really seen any difference in the health of her.
For note when I haven't got a thrush infection my discharge is like water and there's no smell at all not even a slight tang. I read on chatgpt that it normally means there's nothing good in there no beneficial bacteria if there's no stick to it and it's just like l've had some water trickle out it's really odd. I was also tested for BV and it was negative. My PH sits around 4.5-4.7 always
