Parent texts me this every week
Literally every single week without fail I receive a “headed your way” text from this parent. Idk why it annoys me so much. I think part of it is I’m approaching 30 students and have to communicate with a lot of students/parents daily, and this is just essentially adding spam to my phone. Would you just ignore or tell them to stop? I thought the parent would stop the messages after the first couple weeks. They started lessons in August and I just received another today 😭
EDIT: Y’all. I get it. I’m not gonna say anything. I’ve had issues with parents (including this family) arriving early and expecting to start early, so I wasn’t sure how to handle this situation. Chill with the “back in my day this was how we communicated” boomer talk. Each of my students receives a reminder via My Music Staff the day before their lesson. I still think this is annoying, but it’s fine. I’m going to ignore it.
