Corporate Finance Slowed Right Down
Hello I (31M) have been working in insurance as an Actuary since I graduated with an Actuarial science degree in 2016. I've benefited from job hopping, exam passes and contracting (since 2022).
I've entered the job market again as my last contract finished after 3 years and though I knew it was bad out here, I didn't realise how bad.
Workday rejections without any explanation even when suited to the job, recruiters hiding when they have no update, hiring managers looking for candidates for roles that have either not been signed off on, or are too busy to interview.
I'm in c.8 potentially well suited processes and have been stalling for weeks.
Tl;dr Fuck this Market.
