I currently have a 7 1/8 Lanning (Canadian brand) felt hat that even after an attempted steaming and stretching with my knee, is too tight for my head. So I'm considering buying a Cavenders size 7 6x hat, but assumedly that will be even smaller. I am an average sized man, I didn't think I had such a massive head, but every used hat I come across runs in 7. Is there any chance that the Cavenders will be less tight (perhaps because its American) or if I keep stretching that it will fit. Thanks!
