Designs changing over time is nothing new to Hiro Mashima (yes I know Atsuo Ueda does the illustrations for this series but Mashima still provides the storyboard) but jesus christ what a downgrade. The proportions are wack with the goat-like head, long neck, and stupid wide body. I get Selene is supposed to look like a kitsune but while the other dragon gods' designs evoke their elemental powers, Selene's appearance doesn't really allude to the moon other than crescent shaped horns. The muscular design also doesn't match with the standard pretty lady design of her human form. It would've been a lot more fitting if she looked like her underling Mimi.
