My Experience With The Vivoactive 6

I have recently gotten the Vivoactive 6 in Bone white with a silicon band and for anyone who has been incessantly bombarded by videos of Garmin watches (me 4 weeks ago) I have noted my experiences with my short time with this watch.

Positives:

- Lasted 147hrs 6min (6+1/8 days) with normal use including 6 hours of running/walking/activity

- Big fan of how it tracks sleep, stress, and heart rate, although this is my first smart watch so perhaps the novelty of it is what shines

- I enjoy reminders through the day to stay active as I mostly sit behind a desk at work

- Watch looks are easy to customize and find for free

- All the different activities the band tracks are convenient to use

- Set up is easy and fun to customize

Negatives:

- At times the watch feels awkward while sleeping, but that may be because this is the first watch I've slept with and the nylon keeps catching on my blankets

- Takes an hour to charge, although I have nothing to base this against

- Sometimes the nylon band feels itchy

Overall, I like the band and it has really helped motivate me to be more active. I think it's worth the price so long as it lasts a while, but we will see when we get there. There's a few things that you might not like, but they don't necessarily ruin the watch if you can tolerate it or find ways around it.

I have (relatively) recently started my credit history and have applied for apartments that come with a credit report check. My application was denied due to a "Charge Off Within 6 Months". This comes from a old credit card were I was added as an authorized user and NOT THE OWNER. This old credit card was the start of my credit history in early 2021. From there I opened student loans from 2022-2024 and have been paying them since the start of 2026. And recently I got my own credit card in March 2026. The last payment was on July 2025 and closed Nov 2025, but reported (on my history?) Apr 2026. I am unsure if I should delete this from my credit history. On one hand, I am unable to apply to the apartment I want, but on the other I am afraid this might tank my credit score. The apartment requires a credit above 600 and I am sitting between 675-700. I am not too worried that I'll go under 600, but I am worried that it will still tank significantly.
