I have to replace my mini-split in the room where my family spends most of our day. Since we bought the house the Gree system has been close to end of life and LOUD. My research shows that a properly working Gree is not noticeably louder than a Mitsubishi mini-split.

For anybody with experience, is that true or is a Mitsubishi noticeably quieter and worth the extra money?
